Purpose of Assignment:
The purpose of this assignment is to provide you with an introduction to Healthcare Human Relations Management (HCHRM) and to develop a foundational understanding of the historical evolution, unique challenges, and opportunities within healthcare HRM. You will collaborate with your group to explore the historical development of a healthcare organization or hospital of your group’s choice. This hospital system will be the focus of your group’s work throughout the course, leading towards the final project.
Steps to Complete Assignment:
1. Timeline Visualization: Timeline Visualization: In your group develop a visual representation depicting the historical evolution of a healthcare organization or hospital that you and your group have selected. This timeline should highlight key milestones, events, and changes that have shaped the organization over time. Provide a summary describing the context of your timeline and information about the organization you selected. Address what this organization specializes in.
2. Peer Review Board Post: On the Canvas platform, create a Peer Review Board post introducing the healthcare organization or hospital your group has selected. Discuss the role you anticipate playing within the group during the course. Additionally, share which learning outcomes and/or course learning objectives you have an interest in exploring more in-depth. Respond to at least two other colleagues’ posts to foster collaboration and discussion within the course. Be sure to respond to comments you receive on your post.
Additional Technical Instructions:
1. Timeline Visualization Format: Utilize any digital tool or software to create an engaging and informative timeline visualization. Ensure that the timeline is accessible to all group members and can be easily shared within the Peer Review Board. Include relevant sources and citations in APA format.
2. Group Work Collaboration: Use collaborative tools available such as Microsoft 365 or Google for effective group communication and coordination. Each group member should actively contribute to the exploration of the healthcare organization or hospital’s historical development. Instructions on how to sign up for a group will be made available on Canvas. Instructions on how to sign up for a group and participate in your group assignment is located under Groups in Step #8 of the Course Orientation. It is required that you work with your same group throughout the semester.
3. Peer Review Board Guidelines: Follow the guidelines provided on Canvas for posting on the Peer Review Board. Clearly articulate your role within the group, express your interests, and engage constructively with colleagues’ posts.

Submission Details:
Submit the completed timeline visualization and a summary of your group’s exploration of the selected healthcare organization or hospital assignment and post to the Peer Review Board. Ensure that all group members have access to and can contribute to the submission. List all group member names that have contributed to the assignment. Additionally, participate actively in the Peer Review Board by posting your response and responding to your colleague
